About me
I originally set out to become a physical therapist. As a volleyball player at Graceland University, I was always trying to figure out how to jump higher, move better, and perform at a higher level. In chasing my own goals — and constantly picking my professor’s brain (shoutout Gatzke) — I realized I was far more drawn to the performance side of training than the rehab side. That realization shaped everything that came next.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from Graceland — a program focused on exercise science, corrective exercise, and performance enhancement. After college, I earned my CSCS and continued my education through DBC Fitness Biomechanics Levels 1 and 2. I later completed the Applied Performance Coach Certification and Mentorship, and added a certification in force plate testing and metric analysis — tools that allow me to use data-driven feedback to guide training and optimize performance.
I’ve worked with athletes, adults, and post-rehab clients — helping athletes push performance to new levels, helping adults realize they still can, and helping post-rehab clients rebuild confidence and surpass where they were pre-injury. My goal is simple: get people stronger, healthier, and more capable — in a way that lasts.
I build my system around four core principles:
Precision and Purpose — every movement has intent; every cue has purpose.
Grit — show up anyway.
Adaptability — shift the approach, not the goal.
Systems — not random hard work.
Direct and grounded, my coaching style is built on honesty and clarity. Every word has weight — if it doesn’t make you better, it’s not said. My belief is simple: trends look good, systems deliver, and consistent effort earns respect.
